Head Strength Coach
Mike Hazel is a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist Though National Strength and Conditioning Association. He received his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from California University at Pennsylvania. Mike Graduated from East Carolina University, receiving he Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Human Performance, where he played football for a year and then made the switch to lacrosse. It was during this time that he realized that his true passion was for training and developing athletes.
Mike uses his knowledge and experience on and off the field to help his athletes develop strength, speed, agility and quickness to perform better on game day.
Mike has experience with a variety of training styles from Injury Prevention, Athletic Performance, Olympic Strength, Power, Speed, Agility, Quickness and Body Transformation.
Mikes philosophy on training is he trains the individual, in a team setting, to improve the athletic ability of the whole team on game day. Mike is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach of multiple state champion teams for Charlotte Catholic High School.
Coach Ethan Love
Head Athletic Training Coach
My name is Ethan Love, I am from Conway, SC where I attended high school and played multiple sports including basketball. I later went to Coastal Carolina and graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science; from there I started working for Architect Sports (with whom I interned), with Architect Sports I had the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and train athletes in speed, agility, strength training, and conditioning; Then I obtained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through National Strength and Conditioning Association. Now I work as a personal trainer at the YMCA and Carmel Country Club, specializing in strength training and athletic training. I aid in our athletic development for our athletes. With Old Skool I specialize with speed, agility, conditioning and core.
